So I needed a little pick-me-up and what better way than to head to the MAC counter and look at all the new pretties (old pretties to our American friends)

I swatched some stuff from the Spring Colour Forecast and Too Fabulous collections and, knowing I couldn't have it all, decided just to pick up the 4 items I liked best for now.

This consisted of Double Dare Cremesheen Glass from the Too Fabulous collection and from Spring Colour Forecast I got the Ripe Peach Blush Ombre, Malibu Peach Nail Lacquer and the Purple Rage Lipglass. I am lusting after the Crushed Metal Pigment stack from Colour 1 as well, so hoping my MAC counter will still have some in stock when I have some funds to justify spending on pretty things for myself (who decided that paying boring things like bills was a good idea that we must all comply with?)

Anyway, I am happy with the modest little haul I got from the new collections for now, there are others with much more funky looking packaging coming to us shortly, not to mention the Gaga and Cyndi Viva Glam lipsticks which are released in the UK on March 18th.

I also got me a little bargain as well, a back up Urban Decay 24/7 Super Stash set of liners for under ten English pounds as there is an awesome sale going on right now. I went into Debenhams in the hope of comparing the Alice in Wonderland book of shadows to the previous Book of Shadows Vol II and much to my frustration found out my local Debenhams have decided not to bother getting any in (you suck for this Debenhams!) So I walked away without one of those and took solace in my stash bargain instead. Perhaps it's not meant to be, the colours within the palette are nothing new anyway, I seem to already have many of them under their original names in other palettes, so no need to be too broken up about it I suppose (she says unconvincingly)
